Crystal Sands (WIP)

Shield volcanoes gave birth to the largest of the Coral Circlet’s five islands, which is renowned for its shining white beaches. The noxious fog still belched forth by the mountain called Red Maw does little to damp the busy crowds and noisy markets of Orchid Bay, the Circlet’s only city. Sitting on the nexus of trade routes that span the Archipelago, this island is always in motion.

Places

Orchid Bay. Cities aren’t common things in the Archipelago; that’s what makes the cliffside port of Orchid Bay “the jewel in the Circlet”, for all its faults. Merchants and sailors from all over the world pass through here on their way to other places. They stop to resupply with the fruits of the island’s vineyards and fields, and to fill their holds with the trinkets and treasures that fund the tower wizards of the Shroud.
